Larry was diagnosed with R.A. (rheumatoid Arthritis) and a potentially fatal circulatory disorder at the age of 16. He was told he’d never play sports or lift weights. He went home that day, got a weight set, and that’s where his fitness journey began. Within a year of his diagnosis he was a personal trainer for a large franchise gym. Since that time he’s been certified through I.S.S.A. N.E.S.T.A, Apex, N.A.S.M, and several others organizations for personal training as well as nutrition. He’s worked at all of the major gyms holding positions ranging from fitness manager to membership consultant. After years in the gym industry Larry decided it was time someone built a gym that was designed to get people in shape instead of just to get their money so that’s exactly what he did. He’s ran marathons, done power lifting, is an NPC Physique competitor and has one of the most impressive portfolios of client before and after transformations you may ever see.

Dave Weber has been interested in fitness for as long as he can remember. From an early age he was attracted to sports, as well as figuring out how the body functions. This passion led Dave to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts as a teenager and he has now been a professional MMA fighter for over five years. In his very first professional fight, Dave defeated Troy “Rude Boy” Mandaloniz from season 6 of The Ultimate Fighter. Currently, Dave trains at the academy of MMA legend Big John McCarthy. He trains with world class coaches: Brian Peterson, a world champion grappler, as well as Majid Raees who is a formerly top ranked kick boxer. Dave has also been training partners with Joseph “Leonidas” Henle from The Ultimate Fighter season 11 and you can watch his current training partner, Vinc “From Hell” Pichel on the current season of the Ultimate Fighter (The Ultimate Fighter season 15). His love for exercise and both the anatomy and physiology of the human body directed Dave to Cal State University Northridge where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science. Dave takes pleasure in sharing his enthusiasm for exercise and martial arts with others and has instructed martial arts and innovative fitness classes over the past five years. He holds a personal trainer certification from, and is insured by, the American Sports and Fitness Association. Dave is thoroughly excited about sharing his passion and knowledge with all those who are a part of the Hardcore Fitness family. Dave wants you to know that you don’t have to be a professional athlete to train like, and look like, one.
